So sick of it!!!

I am so sick of it... I am so in-love with this man that I make myself sick.  lol

Today is mother's day here in the Dominican Republic.  The one thing I noticed about my husband is that he is definitely a husband in training. He has never had a family.  H has never even had a girlfriend for any long time so this is all new to him, but wow.  He's truly learning.  The cool thing is he is molding to me.  However I dreamed of things, all I have to do is tell him.

When we first got married I was like.  Oh no, I'm going to be one of those women who complain that their husbands leave the toilet seat up.  I was so bothered by it.  I decided to tell him.  Look we are a house full of women, and I even have trained my son to NOT leave the toilet seat up.  At first he smiled and said.. "Well I have always kept it up." with that I thought I was in trouble.  He then said he would try to remember to always put the seat down.  This is the dream I am living, I have NEVER found it up again!!

One thing that my husband is learning about is special dates.  I thought he had it down pat as we had married on a Thursday and since we married he's been counting the weeks of how long we've been married.  Put it this way, we just celebrated our 14th Thursday!! :) I usually get a Happy Anniversary My sweetie, and a kiss.  I always giggle like a school girl cause he's so funny.

My husband HATES birthdays so funny that he actually remembers our anniversary the way he does.

I realized that today he didn't realize that its a day to celebrate me being a mother.  He thought about his mother, but it was almost just a habit.  You would laugh if you ever heard him talking to his mother.  "Hello, my beautiful mother! How is it going for you on this beautiful day? Mom, thank you for everything you've ever did for me.  The hard work you put forth for me, mom I need to tell you how much you mean to me every day, but because I don't get to talk to you each day I'd like to tell you today on this special day that you are the world to me, and I love you.  Thank your for making me all that I am today.  If it wasn't for you, my mother, I would have not found this perfect wife. 

He made me laugh and blush that I had to walk away.  He loves telling everyone how beautiful, intelligent, and what a good person I am.  He makes me laugh.  He's so good to me.

I figure if I can think of something REALLY special for fathers day, I can do for him, I am sure that my next mother's day will be special.  :)

I got beautiful cards from my kids, hugs, kisses, and loving from them.  We sat around and talked about funny things that happened in our past, and just enjoyed eachother until I had to start my college homework.  My kids are awesome!

We skipped our bible verse tonight cause I'm behind in my college work, but we will make up for it tomorrow.  My kids are doing great with the bible.
