Here Goes Nothing...

So for the past 3 months I have thought about writing a blog about my crazy husband!  He is the most amazing man in the world, and I feel nothing but love from him, every moment of the day. 

Let me explain how crazy in love he is.  Which has truly made me fall madly in-love with him.  How could you not? This is a typical love sick day... EVERY day..

Every morning I will sleep late.  My husband gets up early and does some chores in the morning.  We live in the Dominican Republic and we don't have a constant source of water.  We get water twice a day.  We have a big cistern that sits on the roof so he goes out early in the morning and turns on our water pump so that we all have water to bathe, wash clothes, dishes, cook, etc.  Oh before he does his chores he will usually pray for a good 1/2 hour.  So after he turns the water pump on, he jumps in the shower. 

After his shower he lines up my flip-flops so that they are exactly where I would get out of the bed.  We sleep with a mosquito net so he knows exactly where I get out.  They are always waiting right there for me.  He then has my towel waiting in the bathroom, along with my bathrobe.  My husband is extremely conservative so he makes sure I have my robe to come out of the shower in. It gets better.

We have a wire rack over the showerhead which holds our shampoo.  He has my toothbrush waiting there even though he thinks its totally NUTS that I brush my teeth in the shower.  It's already got the toothpaste waiting. 

Now he will check on me several times every single morning.  Sometimes I will wake up to him just staring at me with a smile.  He will pace around sometimes waiting for me to get up and making sure the kids have everything they could ever want without waking up mom.  He's just a dream!  Unfortunately I've gotten way too used to his way that I find myself easily sleeping way past the time that I should. 

Oh and the other thing.  We have a maid.  My maid will have our breakfast waiting on the table early in the morning, but he will NOT eat without me.  I love this man!
